Newly founded in 2006, the College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences Alumni Society has well over 2,000 members. All graduates, students and friends of the college are eligible for active membership in the Society. The Society is responsible for a wide variety of successful initiatives, including:
- Sponsoring an alumni-student mentor program
- Co-sponsoring Classes Without Quizzes
- Funding three $500 scholarships for undergraduates
- Coordinating business and industry tours for current students
- Hosting a golf scramble for scholarships
- Co-sponsoring Minnesota Royal activities
- Honoring individuals through recognition programs
- Sponsoring First Thursday Networking socials for recent graduates
With every new member, the Alumni Society of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences is able to offer more programs and services in support of the college and its students.
