Facebook
The University of Minnesota Alumni Association is now on Facebook, a networking site that encourages social networking and personal profiles. Anyone can join and find fellow Gophers, keep up on alumni news and find fun photos and video and messages boards there. Click here to go to the main Alumni Association Facebook group.

GoldPASS
For additional career connections, you many also be interested in GoldPASS - the U of M's online database to help link students and alumni with employers, volunteer organizations and internships across the country. If you graduated in 1997 or later, you can contact the Helpline (612-301-4357) to reactivate your internet ID and password. If you graduated before 1997, please contact Member Services at alumnimembership@umn.edu or 612-624-9658 (1-800-862-5867) and we will assist you. http://goldpass.umn.edu

Letter/E-mail Forwarding
As always, if you are interested in re-connecting with a former classmate or acquaintance, the Alumni Association Member Service team can help! Although we cannot release addresses, telephone numbers or e-mail addresses due to privacy issues, we will be happy to forward a message to the person if he or she can be located in our database.

What information is needed to search?

Your inquiry should include the following information about the person you wish to find:

first/last name as a student
middle initial
married name/current name
graduation year
field of study/major

The Alumni Association represents more than 58,000 members and nearly 370,000 living alumni of the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota, so the more detailed information that you can provide, the better!

The fastest way to reach a former classmate or acquaintance is by contacting us via e-mail! We can forward your letter via e-mail if we locate a valid e-mail address for the contact. Contact us at alumnimembership@umn.edu. If we do not find an e-mail address on file, we will try to mail a printed version of your e-mail to the most recent address on file.

If you prefer to contact us via mail, include on one sheet of paper the search information listed above (name, year of graduation, etc.). Please include a second sheet of paper with a note to the classmate and your contact information. If we have a current address, we will forward the letter, along with a note from the Alumni Association. If not, the letter will be returned to you.
